Jessica Alba finds her 'new best friend'

Socialite Jessica Alba has found a "new best friend" through a reality television show in which she auditioned potential candidates.

In 'Jessica Alba's My New BFF' (Best Friend Forever) the 27-year-old star began a search for a potential friend who was hot, loyal and "paparazzi-ready".

The show, which is due to begin airing on 30 September on MTV, sees Hilton select 16 women and two men to compete to be her new best friend.

Challenges included trying to look hot while on a rollercoaster and making a commercial for one of her fashion products.

Hilton has revealed that she has now selected the winner of the show, although she cannot reveal who it is.

The socialite said: "The person who won is now my best friend. We hang out. Yeah, we're really friends."

"We've been having barbecues and hanging out at the house. The winner and I have been pretty low-key so far, because it is top secret right now."

Speaking about her own qualities as a friend, Hilton told Reuters: "I will always tell you the truth."

"If you ask me if I like your outfit, if I don't, I'll say I don't. I'm a lot of fun. I love showing my friends my world and enjoying life."

Jessica Alba: I hate it when people think I don’t work

Jessica Alba has said she hates it when people think she doesn’t work - because she’s actually working all the time.

The heiress, who made her name as a socialite on the Los Angeles scene (before starring in a sex tape and numerous reality TV shows), explained recently that it’s the worst misconception about her: “I work all the time, so I laugh when I hear people say that.

“I am literally running a huge corporation. I have my clothing lines, my champagne, my watches, shoes and purses and dog clothes - every sort of product you can imagine.

“I am doing movies. I am doing my record right now [and] producing, starring in a TV show. So it is a 24 hour, seven day-a-week job.”

And she added that she’ll probably be just as busy in 20 years time: “I’ll probably be a mom with a couple of kids.

“I’d love to have a big family [but I’ll still be] running my business. [Maybe] not traveling so much. I’ll be in a lot of real estate businesses and hotels then. I’ll be running my business from home.”

Jessica Alba knows where she wants to be in 20 years time -- a mom with a couple of kids.

The socialite -- who is currently dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden -- insists she is willing to give up her party-girl lifestyle to raise a family.

When asked where she sees herself in 20 years time, Paris said, "I'll probably be a mom with a couple of kids. I'd love to have a big family. Running my business and not traveling so much.

"I'll be in a lot of real estate businesses and hotels then. I'll be running my business from home."

And the first thing Paris thinks about when she wakes up in the morning? "I always think about what I dreamed," Hilton explains. "I write down my dreams. I feel it is your subconscious talking to you.

"Then I think of my schedule which is going to be so hectic. And I feel so happy, lucky and blessed that I have this life and what I can do to be a better person every day."

Jessica Alba Denies Dogs Eaten by Coyote

Jessica Alba's rep has denied a report that two of her dogs were eaten by a coyote.

"They were at Paris' house Wednesday in her recording studio, and all the dogs were playing and looked as healthy and happy as can be," a rep for Hilton, 27, told People magazine. "Paris even had a doggie mansion built for them and it is very secured. "

According to the celebrity gossip Web site X17online, "Hilton lost two of her most beloved pets in an attack by a coyote that came down into her neighborhood during the night."

A source told X17 Paris was "devastated" and that she's been crying about it non-stop.
